Synapse Software Download
In order to view the Synapse PACS images, you will need to download the Synapse software on your local computer.  Follow these instructions…

1. Before you can download the Synapse software you will need to Contact Us to obtain a username and password.
2. Click here for a PDF file with instructions on installing the software.
3. Go to Synapse Software Download and enter your username and password to enter and then click ‘Download Now’ to download the software onto your computer

Your computer now has full Synapse PACS station capability.  Each computer that you use to access images will need to have the latest version of Synapse software.  The download software will automatically determine what version you have and update it accordingly.  If you have any problems or questions with the software, please Contact Us.

Accessing Synapse from your Desktop
After installing the software, you will notice a new Synapse icon on your desktop.  When you want to access your images, double click on the desktop icon to start the application.  Click on ‘Reliable Imaging’ and then enter your username and password.  You will then see your institution’ name on the folder with those images. You will only be able to see the images that you have privileges to view. Double click on your folder and then on the study you want to review.
